    I'm not even sure why Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are in conservatorship at this point, other than the government and/or banks trying to steal from share holders. No company that is privately held and makes billions of dollars a quarter of net profits, should be kept in conservatorship or put in receivership. It's outright nationalization and a direct violation of the 5th amendment of the constitution.
