    We really need to make sure that low-income homes are as energy efficient as possible, efficiency is a key component of income stability in both cold climates or in warm climates. It is especially important for those who have least access, affecting family stability, education, jobs, and many other qualities of life for individuals, families and of our people. This type of disclosure makes common sense and will help to change behaviors on the part of home buyers, home owners, and builders. I hope Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will include energy efficiency disclosure going forward.
