    FHLBank Pittsburgh’s AHP funds were essential to our renovation, rehabilitation and new construction of over 400 units of affordable housing in 15 projects. The assisted projects include a combination of permanent supportive housing and transitional living targeted to low-income, homeless individuals and families with special needs. Through AHP assistance, we were able to close the gap in our funding and successfully create quality housing environments for the residents. With limited resources available to develop affordable housing for special needs populations, AHP funds are vital in the effort to end homelessness and create supportive housing.
