    The GSE's in my opinion are essential to the housing market going forward. The Housing market is essential as it's a huge part of our economy. Eliminating the GSE's too replace with what, whom and how. At the very least how you replace them will be an unknown that will surely disrupt all facets of the housing market, construction, realtors, home builders, home buyers, home sellers to name a few. In addition, eliminating the GSE's without compensating shareholders would be a violation of the constitution of the United States. The taxpayers of the United States have been "paid back." By not compensating individual investors and pension funds which make up teachers, firemen, police officers, ordinary tax payers like myself would be akin to Russia nationalizing public enterprises. Please be careful what you do and be sure to abide by the Constitution of the United States.
