    What is your agency's plans, if any, to help strugglng homeowners? I received a temporary modification in 2009, but continue to pay two-thirds of my income for my ARM, which is going to increase again in 2016. I am one payment delinquent (for over a year), a 72-year old widow (lost half my income in 2008 when my spouse died), with a $400,000 mortgage. My income is less than $40,000 a year. I have no savings and need to replace water heater and furnace. Am I not worthy of a little assistance? Former servicer wouldn't help me, citing it would require "excessive forbearance".

    How many homeowners are there in the United States? How many like me are barely treading water?
