    PLEASE do want you possibly can to lower or adjust the PMI requirement amounts. There are so many people (including 2 sons of mine!) that cannot afford the monthly payments due to the current PMI amounts. The housing recovery is still on the edge and many people are still loosing their homes, often because of PMI. Affordability is thy KEY to getting the next generation of home buyers into their own home. Jobs are coming back, but still, people cannot buy a house due to the FHA requirements. Investors are still buying up the homes and renting them out, but how are our people to get back into a home of their own, when road blocks are set up on their monthly payment amounts due to PMI. A KEY is education-and with a mandatory learning class about what their monthly payment entails and receiving a certificate upon completion (reducing a % of PMI), the first time home buyer would have better understanding and confidence to strive have a home of their own.
