    Given the uncertainty over access to funds in the Jumbo market, it seems a poor time to be considering reducing conforming loan size by a, seemingly, insignificant sum. I understand the potential macro impact on the GSE portfolio but I believe asking borrowers to come up with an additional $17,000 is more onerous than any positive gain for the GSEs.
