    In my opinion these limits should be lowered by even a greater percentage. The FHA was begun to help the every day
    families to be able to afford a home – the American Dream. The limits that are being adjusted still are too high. If some
    one can afford a home that expensive they should be able to obtain a loan on the open market. I am aware of how the
    home prices have gone up over the last 20 years….maybe this high limit has contributed to this situation.

    If the limit would be lowered an additional 5% - 10% there would be additional funds available for lower priced homes for
    people who need the FHA assistance.
