2018-2020 Enterprise Housing Goals
SUMMARY: The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) is issuing a final rule on the housing goals for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (the Enterprises) for 2018 through 2020. The Federal Housing Enterprises Financial Safety and Soundness Act of 1992 (the Safety and Soundness Act) requires FHFA to establish annual housing goals for mortgages purchased by the Enterprises. The housing goals include separate categories for single-family and multifamily mortgages on housing that is affordable to low-income and very low-income families, among other categories.

Technical and Conforming Changes and Corrections to FHFA Regulations
SUMMARY: The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) proposes to amend its rules to make a number of conforming changes and corrections intended to fix citations, provide for consistent use of terminology, and remove outdated or duplicative rule provisions and definitions. FHFA also proposes to remove provisions that FHFA believes are no longer applicable, clarify other provisions by incorporating language that would implement existing FHFA regulatory interpretations, and make other changes and corrections.

SUMMARY: The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) is amending its rules to make a number of conforming changes and corrections intended to fix citations, provide for consistent use of terminology, and remove duplicative definitions. FHFA is also removing provisions that are no longer applicable, clarifying other provisions by incorporating
language to implement existing FHFA regulatory interpretations, and making other changes and corrections.
