The Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI) is dedicated to serving:
1. FHFA colleagues who work in Washington, D.C. and in other towns and cities across the U.S.; and
2. the public by our role as regulator of diversity and inclusion among FHFA’s regulated entities.
In both of these domains, we collaborate with FHFA colleagues, and we tap research with academic institutions, corporate research, other state, local and federal regulators, community groups, Congress and stakeholders devoted to advancing efficient and effective diversity and inclusion strategies.
OMWI Mission
We carry out the obligations of: Section 342 of the Dodd-Frank Act; section 1116 of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act; the rules and regulations of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Office of Federal Programs; Executive Order 13583 and other executive orders governing federal agencies’ diversity and inclusion programs; and offer Alternate Dispute Resolution services for conflicts internal to the FHFA related and unrelated to EEO concerns and complaints.
